Mayor of London
The Mayor of London is the elected voice of the capital and champions London and Londoners at home and abroad. The Mayor is responsible for making London a better place for everyone who visits, lives or works in the city.
The Mayor sets the budget to support the overall vision for London and has a duty to create plans and policies for the capital covering Business and Economy including foreign direct investment; Planning, Housing and Land; Arts, Culture and Events; Environment and Regeneration; Fire, Policing and Crime; Health and Sport; Transport and Young People and Education.
Championing London, the Global Capital
British House will play a central role in the work of the Mayor to promote London to an international audience during the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
